£50 a day from the G-G's

I have been having a nose around Masseys site this evening and quite a few of his top two will win without too great a long losing run. So i dont know if this will or wont work but i will attempt to make £50 a day using a combination of dutching, ratings and progressive staking

A few rules before we start.

1. No more than 6 races in a day. No more than 10 times daily profit to be staked in one day. If that point is reached stop for the day.

2. At least 6 runners in a race (if runners drop out taking the number of particpants below 6 then no bet in that race)

3. System is strictly stop at a winner. Make the target for the day and go home.

4. For the 1st race the two selections are dutched bet so that if either one wins the stake plus daily profit is acheived.

5. If the first race is unsuccessful the amount staked in the first race is added to the daily profit to be won from the second race. This continues until either 6 races is reached or the stop loss has been activated.

6. Do not bet in races where either selection is odds-on.

7. For the purpose of all calcs we will use SP but better value can be obtained from the exchanges.

8. If either selection pulls out use the reserve but there must always be 2 selections in a race.

9. Starting bank £2000. Stop at zero or when i get bored.

Thats it for now, will see how it goes and might have to add some filters as we go.

Tomorrows selections:
1.00 Folk 3 & 5
2.10 Ayr 6 & 4
2.45 Ayr 6 & 4
3.05 Folk 3 & 4
3.35 Folk 8 & 7

Re: £50 a day from the G-G's

1.00 Folk No.3 won £50 profit for the day.

For interest the amount staked at SP were No.3 3-1 £20, No.5 7-1 £10.

Bank £2050

Good I'm glad you're around cos I have another stupid question

I can't see any mention of Kempton on here

http://www.adrianmassey.com/3/rating.php

I know you mentioned a "revamped site". Is that the one with Kempton on and where is it please?

Re: £50 a day from the G-G's

Massey only gives full access to his ratings to people who "donate" to his London Marathon run. People who have donated are given login details to a seperate site. However on that site he now mentions the revamp and gives links to a third site :loon

If you have not been there before the custom report generator is quite a useful feature and worth a play around with. There is an option within it to use estimated Betfair odds which from my calcs is about a fair assessment of betfair prices.

Re: £50 a day from the G-G's

Thank you and (bad news) I'm with your system with real cash tomorrow although only at small stakes so extra extra good luck to you

The only other doubt I have is that it strikes me that it wouldn't take much of a delay for you to be struggling to get on between the 345 and 355 though. A delay might put the kybosh on it and a stewards enquiry certainly would (providing one of your selections was involved of course).

Re: £50 a day from the G-G's

Onedunme, i certainly wouldnt go with real cash yet, i have back tested this for a little while but by no means enough for me. I did originally put this in Rags to Riches cos its not proven but somebody moved it in here. The 3.45 /3.55 is a concern and if it was over the sticks wouldnt have picked them that close but its on the flat. Fingers crossed they do not overlap or better still we dont need to go that far.

If anybody wants a dutching spreadsheet for working out the stakes pm me an email addy.

Re: £50 a day from the G-G's

Ok but I think I'll risk a few quid on race one anyway as the prices are quite juicy and I'll kick myself if I don't and one of them wins.

No winner from Race 1, had to wait for race 2 today. Will put all stakes up later.

Re: £50 a day from the G-G's

Race 1 had prices of 11/4 and 10/1 which meant stakes of £20.75 and £7.08 carried forward to the next race. So race 2 we needed to win £77.83.

SP's for race 2 were 11/8 and 4/1 meaning stakes of £86.47 and £41.08 and thankfully we had the winner. The ramp up of stakes shows the dangers of progressive staking.

Day 2 bank £2100
