Football Doubles System

[ONEDUNME]

I was looking at today's CCC matches and fancying a load of home wins. I don't usually look at perms but the coupon tells me that if I backed all ten home teams in doubles, it would be 45 bets.

All selections are evens and over which means that I would only (ONLY ) need half of them to win to get a small profit, with profits mounting with each additional winner above the five.

Well it's raining and I can't be bothered to walk up the road with my bookies coupon, so I'm going to bang it in here and see what the result would be.

I know that I could get better prices by shopping around to see what the best prices were but I'll put up general prices on each just for speed.

What a nightmare Looks like the rain did me a favour. Only one double up returning a whacking 12.38 points, Deficit of 77.62 points. Oh dear

Would you only be doing this system when you favoured a high % of home wins or every week? And would you be only doing the CCC?

The CCC had one of the poorest home wins records in Europe last season (42.57%) so if you were looking for 50% strike rate to make a small profit then previous seasons figures suggest doing it blindly wouldn't be a good idea. Of course there will be some weekends when homes do come in and you could well see a nice profit with a lot of doubles coming in.

Thanks mate. It was just that the CCC caught my eye last week, that's all. If I do it again (or rather, when) I select from any league. Prices will always be between evens and 6/4 though.

I put the low number of home wins down to the fact that there seemed to be very little diference in class between the teams in the CCC last season and anyone could beat anyone on a given day. It made for very unreliable gambling but it won't put me off including them in my home wins because past performance is no indicator etc etc

I know that I am teaching you to suck eggs here but it is always worth remembering that you will only make money with a doubles system if you also make money on those events when bet as singles. Combination bets amplify the profit (if you are making one) and amplify the loss (if you aren't).
