Tevez - where does his future lie?
I cant see him staying at West Ham. He is too good for them - win, lose or draw on Sunday. He definitely took a while to settle in and we arguably havent seen the best of him yet. I can see a move in the summer for the little Blanka look-a-like, the only question is where to?

Tevez questions West Ham future
| Tevez has been in brilliant form of late
| West Ham forward Carlos Tevez has admitted he does not know where he will be next season.
The Argentina international, 23, could be playing his final game for the relegation-threatened Hammers when they travel to Manchester United on Sunday.
"I have stopped learning English as I don't know where I am going to end up next season," he told the Times.
The Hammers will stay up if they get at least a point at Manchester United, or if Wigan fail to beat Sheffield United.

In my opinion, it's the most difficult competition in the world
Carlos Tevez
|
Speculation continues as to where he will play next season with clubs in England and overseas supposedly interested.
And should the Hammers stay up they could face legal action from Charlton, Sheffield United and Wigan over the signing of Tevez.
The Hammers were fined a record £5.5m on Friday for breaching Premier League rules over the signings of Tevez and fellow Argentine Javier Mascherano, who has since joined Liverpool.
After a tough start to life in England, Tevez has inspired a run of form that has seen them win six of their last eight matches.
He added: "It was hard to settle. The language is an issue - and I will learn English if I stay in this league.
"The football here is different compared to Brazil or Argentina.
"In my opinion, it's the most difficult competition in the world. That may be why so few people make it over here. "Every Saturday you get kicked and you end up going home with marks all over your body. They hit you hard, they hit you everywhere - Premiership defenders are very strong individuals. "And the referees allow a lot. They don't interrupt the game as much as they do elsewhere. But you know what? I don't mind all that, it makes me a better player, a stronger player."

I reckon a move to Liverpool will probably go through. His good mate Jav Masch plays there, most of the squad (Garcia, Alonso, Paletta, Arbeloa, Insua, Leto and Roque) and backroom staff are Spanish speakers and I reckon its the best place for him. Out with the little Welsh twat and in with Carlitos. That would do me very nicely.

Re: Tevez - where does his future lie?
Isn’t there noises about Alonso leaving Anfield for ffice:smarttags" />Barcelona? If so Tevez would seem a more than adequate replacement.
ffice ffice" />
I wouldn’t rule out him going to Spain either.
Personally I’d like to see him at Arsenal but the midfield pudding is probably a bit rich and frothy there as it is
I hope he stays in England whoever he ends up with. In a crowd pleasing first 11 he’d be a definite starter.

Re: Tevez - where does his future lie?
Eh?
Tevez, the ideal replacement for Alonso? I'd have thought Mascherano would have been better suited to the holding midfielder role.
As for Alonso leaving, fair enough. If we get a fair price for Xabi (in excess of £20m) then I would let him go. I do think he is a good player and a cool head in most situations - but we have to be realistic. If (and bear in mind its a big if) a bid was tabled for £20m+ then with Mascherano on board, I wouldnt think twice about letting him go if thats what he wanted.
He's had a pig of a season, as have many players involved in last year's World Cup

I have no idea mate. Are you writing in Word first and pasting it over onto here or something?
As for Tevez. He has turned into the quality player everyone knew he was. He seems to be getting better and better each game.
Not sure if he will leave. I remember ages ago an interview with him (long before West Ham) and him stating his love for a side that has fanatical fans and the Hammers probably have one of the best set of fans in England.
With Curbishley at the helm, them staying in the EPL and Eggberts money we could really see them making an impact.

Not entirely convinced about the rest of that post but IMO, you're spot on with this. I think West Ham could be on for a good season next year. Their form (5 wins from 7) and in general the performances since Curbishley has taken over have been phoenominal.
I bet he has a hit list of players he wants to axe and I reckon West Ham could challenge for Europe next year.

We must remember 2 of these wins were picked up at Old Trafford and the Emirates stadium too.
Ok, United rested players yesterday and werent at all interested but they still possessed some quality. Thats West Ham done the double over them with United failing to score in both games. Dont think many teams can hold that record over them.
West Ham need to get rid of a lot of passengers in the side. People like Reo Coker, i used to rate him as a player but he has been bloody awful this season. Maybe give him another season to prove himself.
Its all going to be about the quality of players they bring in. I think there are a few players at teams who are on the fringes who would be interested and could make the required impact.
Players such as Defoe of Spurs for example are ones they should be targeting imo.

It's interesting that Defoe was 5 years in West Ham. 1999-2004 I think.
Let's see what will happen with Dean Ashton. He is excelent player but broken ankle sidelined him for entire season.
Ashton-Tevez in front would be good striker option for WHU.

Re: Tevez - where does his future lie?
I think Curbs needs to boot out all of the big time Charlies. Far too many of that team sat on their laurels this year thinking the job was done. Safe in the Prem and a Cup Final too, easy this football lark.
They got a rude awakening and players like Ferdinand, Zamora, Etherington and Reo Coker need to shape up or ship out as far as I am concerned.
