Are you 12?
FFS Chris, thats playground arguement stuff, that is.
"At least Liverpool tried to score" - ohh aye, and we didn't bother, we just built a wall round our box and played cards all night.
"Liverpool were more attacking than you, some feat" - ehh Liverpool scored 19 goals in Europe this season but you just stick to your stereotyped idea of Liverpool as a boring as fuck side.
"At the end of the day your league is gay and ours is cool" - hang on, will get my bairn to come and debate that one with you
If thats how you want to debate a subject then don't bother, or at least say so and save me the bother of wasting my time putting over reasoned arguements FFS.

Re: CITY SACK PEARCE
I actually am wasting my time on this, keem is going around calling you arrogant and cunts etc.. (which i have no problem with btw)
I make light of the situation by saying your league is gay and just messing about and i get all that.
I suppose if people didnt take themselves so seriously they could see other people dont.

This is what happens when replies are typed and not spoken, its always been the problem with internet message boards, people struggle to pick up others meanings ie are they having a laugh, are they being serious. People usually put smilies in posts when they are joking about something or being ironic ie me posting a LOL smillie about getting my bairn coming to debate the point with you. That usually means I am joking, ie having a laugh. Chuck in a smillie every now and then and people will maybe get what your meaning and you won't then have to despair at no one else around here getting your "irony".
As for Keema, at least he calls a spade a spade and you generally know where you stand with his posts. I, and it seems others from your reply, don't get yours.
I have no idea what ZOMG is btw Or Noob.

Re: CITY SACK PEARCE
and there will be plenty more twists and turns knowing City b4 this is settled, so now it looks like Houliier or Sven but that all depends on whether this thai fella manages to bag the club as i'm beginning to think its never going to happen.

Im sure if you used common sense you would figure ZOMG out, Noob is just a slang word, just a friendly insult really.
Its pretty awful at the moment being a city fan.

Re: CITY SACK PEARCE
Anyway, back to the main point, City manager.
What do the City fans think of SGE?
He seems the only manager who has actually come out and practically applied for the job, based on his MEN interview. Yesterdays man or big name to take City forward?
Quote:
Sven would talk with City
Chris Bailey
25/ 5/2007
SVEN-GORAN Eriksson has said it would be an honour for him to manage City.
The former England boss found himself under fire from fans after seeming to belittle the Blues in a BBC television programme.
But in an exclusive interview with M.E.N. Sport, Eriksson said he would be delighted to speak with City if they wanted him to succeed Stuart Pearce, although no approach has been made and Claudio Ranieri is the outright favourite for the job.
Eriksson said: "City is a big, big club with unbelievable support. It would be an honour for me to be manager, like it would be for all other managers. Every time I visited the club as England coach I was struck by the passion of the fans and was made to feel welcome and at home by nice people.
"They have a beautiful stadium and the possibility of a new owner and of course I would talk to them if they indicate they are interested in me becoming coach.
Established
"City is an established Premiership club with great potential and I know they have ambitions to be challenging higher up the table."
Eriksson said he was upset that people had felt he had insulted "a fine club" during an interview on Inside Sport earlier this week.
"I was asked if I'd had talks with City and I said `no' but a break in the programme and a different question made it appear I had said something different," he explained.
Although the 59-year-old left the England job amid a welter of unflattering tabloid headlines, and hasn't coached in domestic football since the Millennium, he has a solid-gold record in three countries.
He came to prominence winning back-to-back Swedish league titles with Gothenburg and then in a split six-year stint in Portugal he took Benfica to three league titles and a cup. He lifted the Italian Cup with Roma, Sampdoria and Lazio.

Re: CITY SACK PEARCE
I suppose he has the credentials for the job, he may have bitten off more than he could chew with the England job as he was like a rabbit staring at headlamps for most of his stay, plus there were far to many interferring hands while he was at the helm with assistant coaches like Mclaren seeming to take over and shouting directions during games, he also seemed a bit overawed with big names like Beckham and not dropping them when needed for fear of upsetting the media.
But he did qualify for every championship while he was in charge and only seemed to lose the plot while in the finals.
His record at club level is pretty impressive and it will also allow him to be his own man and do what he and not what others want.
His knowledge of foreign players is probably second to none and he allthough he's never managed in the prem he would have seen plenty of English games while manager of England so will know what makes the prem tick.
He wouldent be my first choice for City manager but i'd be willing to give him a chance if he was appointed.
The City job is probably the easiest job in the Premiership if a take over takes place as any manager with decent funding can only improve the shite we have had to endure for the last couple of yrs without any real investment.
with cash the club can only go forward as even finishing mid table will be an improvement, if we don't and say even get relegated then it will be "ahh well here we go again" same as usual.
Whoever comes in has the chance to become a City folk hero by just lifting a trophy, put it this way i'd rather be taking over at a club like City rather than somewhere like Bolton who have peaked and can only go downwards from here on in.
Sammy Lee, first manager for the chop next season i'm telling ya.
