We dont want to jinx anything, i think this will probably be as good as it gets right now! Although a win against Derby and a win in the derby, i would actually explode.
Roll on the good times for city and arsenal and then liverpool

Its not like the Sun to stir up shit where Liverpool are concerned is it?
I am most suprised.

Re: The Official Liverpool thread 2007/08
Well, I have had a punt on Toulouse for tonight's game. I just think that Rafa will have his mind on Sunday's tie with Chelsea. A 1-0 defeat would be more than acceptable, safe in the knowledge that we can defeat them in just under 2 week's time at the Bastion of Invicibility, that is Anfield.
I watched Toulouse on Setanta at the weekend. They held Lyon and snatched a goal late on through the highly rated Elmander. Wouldnt be suprised at all if they operated the same tactic against us. Bear in mind it will be played in 30 degree heat at 3.30 in the afternoon over there.
I reckon we will line up:
--------------Reina
Arbeloa---Carra----Agger---Finnan
---------------Mashc
Riise--------Gerrard---------Yossi
----------Voronin
------------------Torres
Mascherano sitting nice and tight infront of the defence and again Voronin sitting in the hole. Solid on the defence and set up with defence and conceding few (if any) goals. I just think that > 3/1 is just too good to refuse for the frogs.
You know what, we'll probably go out there and win, but I do fancy Toulouse at the generous odds on offer.

Re: The Official Liverpool thread 2007/08
Reina
Finnan
Carragher
Hyypia
Arbeloa
Benayoun
Gerrard
Mascherano
Babel
Voronin
Crouch
Subs:
Itandje
Agger
Riise
Torres
Alonso
Kuyt
Sissoko
Liverpool side there. I understand all this rotation etc but in the CL qualifier is a bit dangerous is it not?

There is no rotation crisis Keeks. We dont rotate more than any other team. The media has got everyone paranoid about Rafa's rotational policy.
If you look at the stats, we rotate about as often as Man U and Chelsea.

I didnt say there was a crisis. Just that its a risk to be switching about in such crucial games.

Re: The Official Liverpool thread 2007/08
Thing is though, Rafa doesnt rotate that much. I believe he averages 3.3 changes per game. Which (within 0.1) is the same as Mourinho and Ferguson.
You never the press going on about Fergie's rotation do you?
Fucking cunts
