Chris and Keem must be flying about 10000ft in the air right now.

This must be amazing for you's just now, almost like you's are dreaming

Rode their luck a bit today and had United had a goalscorer in their ranks they may have just won that game but it wasnt to be.

United 2 points from 9...Crisis?

Fukin buzzin , was a wee bit nervy but waveing the manure fans home at the end was a little bit special.

Dunnes and Richards were outstanding.

Re: The Official Manchester City thread 2007/08

Went to a nice meal at Puccinis in Swinton and who should be there but Gary Neville and Paddy crerand , obviously I have to much class to noise off about the result but my Liverpool supporting brother in law felt no such obligation and sang "citeh citeh" at the top of his lungs!
What a day , what a fukin day

It was a great day mate, the releif at the final whistle was staggering, the meal was great, and him shouting city city! was brilliant

Possibly one of the best birthdays ever?

Hopefully we can beat our title rivals arsenal next week!

Absolutely class. Getting one over on the rat faced weasel into the bargain.

Well done that man.

Re: The Official Manchester City thread 2007/08

That Micah Richards is some player isnt he. He's looked quite impressive thus far, as a right back I always thought he was pacey and strong. But the way he has adapted to centre-back at such a young age astounded me yesterday. He was nothing short of superb.

He's quick, has good anticipation, good technique and knows where the danger is. He had a really really good game. Far from United missing a boat load of chances, I'd put City's win down to Richards. Give the lad the credit he deserves, he kept City's head above water yesterday.

10/10

Re: The Official Manchester City thread 2007/08

Richards was class. Would've been interesting to see how he'd have handled Rooney and Ronaldo though as they'd have probably given him a harder game.

Thought young Schmikes played very well also.

If he gets anywhere near his Dad's ability, he'll be one hell of a keeper.

Despite the defeat, I thought Hargreaves had a great game. Considering it was his first match, the lad kept going and was that ball-winner that we've missed so much since Keano's legs went.

Just a shame we couldn't hit the fooking target.

Oh and incidentally, well done to the Bitters. Not sure how you managed to win, but you did.

Been getting stick off the Blue side of my family for the last 24 hours as well as every scouser, geordie, ABU that I know. Enjoy it while you can.
