I do detest these matadors who display their "manliness" to an audience watching an animal already heavily doped and doomed.
I also know that these animals are brought to maturity so quickly that their legs don´t acquire the strength they should yet the gay boys in tights continue to taunt the animal to death despite the 5000-1 odds against the beast.

I have to wonder,too about a Spanish culture that condones this - not animal cruelty - but such a one-sided performance where the only guarantee is the bull´s death.


I see some of this crap on Spanish TV only in the hope that one of these animals gets in a lucky one.

I find such "traditions" bizarre. Always amuses me how civilised countries can endorse the torture and mutilation of an animal, in the name of sport or entertainment. Some people say its tradition and that tradition should be applauded and preserved.
