I must say that of all the Fergie era players, I find Solskjaer one of the more tolerable ones. He seems like a good bloke and a good pro. His whole career seems to have been dogged by injury though, Not scored as many as I initally thought, only averaged around 12 a season since he joined.
Might sound mental considering he has shed loads of money and medals in his Utd career but I always thought he lacked a bit of ambition by being happy to sit on the bench at Utd for 11 years or so.
Could no doubt have been first choice at most other EPL clubs but that was never the case at Utd.
Well spotted, Crowie.
Footballers play football but Ole Gunnar was happy to turn down regular football at other top clubs, among them Spurs, to warm the United bench.
And thatīs the only reservation I have for a man who brought lots of positives into the game.
