Around 36 million that lot, thank god we have sven

Not only would you take that lot over keanes buys any day of the week, but they all are very technically gifted players who play lovely football where as sunderland are going to be boring.

Keane's signings are completely bonkers, how is he ever going to be able to take over united when he cannot handle big name players or foreigners, it just wont work.
What Fernandes is this City have signed?

Agree with what you have said. Petrov is going to be great too, i have no doubt about that.

Bojinov should be class also. He was billed as the next big thing when he was in Italy until he went to Juve.

Re: Roy Keane

Believe me Wayne, Gordon is top notch and will only get better. He will be in the top 3/4 goalies in the EPL in a couple of seasons. However the fee (its actually £7m + £2m in add ons, probably dependent on Sunderland staying up or something) was barking.

i would say e is already in the top four keepers in the epl, theres certainly no an english keeper better at the moment [maybe foster when fit.] once you see him more you will see what a good keeper he is,us north of the border already know .

Re: Roy Keane

Judge him when the seasons over I say. A lot of people on here were saying how shit/bad whatever a manager hell make when they got him on last season and I said I reckon hell be good and then they won the league.

I know its only his buys in question here but you have to wait and see how they do first really. For instance maybe Etuhu 1.5m or Chopra 5m turn out to do really well then theyll be good buys wont they.

Ive personally always wondered why goalies dont go for for more money like Gordons 9m. Theyre possibly the most important player in your team so if Gordons quality and young then its 9m well spent imo. Always seemed a bit stupid to me how they dont warrant price tags other players do.

I have to agree the new striker Jones and Richardson seem a bit overpriced though.

Hands up here. I was one of them. I questioned his temperament to handle players and it's all been fine and dandy while things have gone from strength to strength.

I can see them finishing as high as 13th this season and he can survive but with raised expectations, other prem teams sussing out their style and a general lack of any sort of clue when spending money, next season is going to find him out big style. He won't be sacked, he'll just walk over some point of principle or other and end up managing Bolton or someone before taking up the role at Man U.
