Scotland bid to overtake England in FIFA rankings

I think Scotland deserve to be where they are after the performances since Berti left.

Mainly down to hard work and rolling up the sleeves when it matters whilst England allthough having better players tend to expect to beat teams rather than getting the job in hand done.
Which really annoys me as when they play club football they can produce the effort and tenacity the Scots do.

Would be great to see get the home internationals going again as scrapping them has not improved anybodys chances of qulaifying for a tournmament as was the excuse at the time, in fact nothings changed.
Bringing them back for even two yrs at a time say in between the WC and Euro's would give us all something to look forward to at the end of every season.

The home internationals would prove Electric if they brought it back, especially now football is as popular as ever, even if some of the prima donna's cry off because of not having a rest it would be an ideal opportunity to give some of the fringe players an opportunity of gaining experience playing for their country.

This is what amazes me. Twenty years ago we were expecting to turn up and beat supposedly "lower" teams than us and we got a nasty shock.

How the fuck can we still have the same attitude 20 years later. You'd think the penny would drop eventually. "Hang on, unless we take these cunts seriously we aren't going to win"
