Champions League last 16
So, last 16 draw is a weel on friday. First placed teams play second placed teams. You cant get a team from your won country or the team that was in your group.
So Liverpool could get:
Seville, Barca, Milan, Real Madrid, Inter Milan
Come on Madrid - that would be brilliant. Torres hattrick please

It'll be interesting to see who Barca and Man United get in the next round when things start to hot up.

Re: Champions League last 16
I fancy both Milans to be knocked out at this stage so could mean the old english team to win the champions league bet ?? Anyone know the odds for an englisg team to lift the trophy because the odds will shorten severley after this round of matches.

Re: Champions League last 16
Only 2.5 on betfair at the moment for and English team to win it. Bit skinny considering some of the other teams in there.

Re: Champions League last 16
Some hellish ties there for Arsenal, Liverpool and Celtic.
Man Utd have it tough too although Lyon are a shadow of their former selfs so fancy them and Chelsea through for definate.

Come on the Arse!
Thats got to be the pick of the round that tie.
Liverpool vs Inter are two big names but I dont know why I just still consider Liverpool really really boring. Probably a bit unfair considering all the hammerings they give out these days.

Think you might need to buy a whole new flight if its a Tuesday game AFU. Pretty sure if you don't use the outward journey in your ticket then your seats on the return are cancelled. Certainly know some Scotland lads who were going to Georgia were well fucked over by BA and Austrian Airways. They missed flights out to Georgia due to missing a connection in London and even if they had got there in another manner they were told their seats on the return fights were now void.
Hopefully you will get a Tuesday game but if you don't double check the stuff on your return leg of your original booking.
San Siro is a great stadium....from outside.....but manky as fuck inside it. If you need any info on Milan then give me a shout, have been a couple of times.
Easy tie for Barca

Re: Champions League last 16
Cunts.
Our game's been re arranged to the week after. My tickets are useless and now flights for that week are a fortune because I've missed the boat.
I am looking at flying to Paris on Monday evening with Sleazyjet and getting the sleeper train to Milan to arrive Tuesday AM.
Other than that my other option is to fly to Europe and get a flight on to Milan from there. But its a lot of messing around and TBH its going to cost a lot. Flights are cheap but its the taxes that are the killer.
Anyone want a flight to Milan, let me know.
