Re: Superbowl

I watched last years, but only because I had quite a bit of money on that Mansion offer.

If it wasn't for that I would have switched it off after about 10 minutes! One of the most boring sports I've ever watched, imo!

Re: Superbowl

I dont know how they manage to stretch it out for so bloody long.

I've never been a fan, I try to like it but I just cant get my head round the half time entertainment and the razz-a-ma-taz and stuff.

Much prefer baseball as far as American sports go.

Re: Superbowl

I've watched it twice in the past and the first one bored my shitless. I like the idea of it better than the reality. Kick off is basically a 7 hour countdown till my alarm in the morning so I'll watch the first quarter or so and then see whether the more pressing concern is a cracking sporting event or sleep.

Re: Superbowl

I used to like watching baseball on 5 when i was at Uni. I was "this close" to understanding all the stats when i had to go out in to the real world.

life sucks

Re: Superbowl

I cant get over it being on a Sunday afternoon/night as well. Surely Saturday avo is best because it allows people to get lashed up and for punters round the world to actually get to watch the game without being fucked the next day in work.

Todd Macklin on a Sunday/Wednesday night was ace.

I got NASN in the summer mate and they show baseball around 7pm every night so I follow it there now. Much more civilised hour!

Re: Superbowl

Bores me shitless tell the truth, I've tried to watch it in the past but all the stopping and starting does my head in as it brings no fluidity to the game.

Baseball and Basketball arent to bad i suppose but i wouldent go out on a limb to watch either.
