As a Spurs supporter of 50 years yes 50 years I have almost given up on the stupidity of Chairmen that continually interfere with the the managers picks and design of the team.

Pavyluchenko would be great for us,an out an out striker that will give the team better balance and helpful will put himself about abit and get in the face of opposing central defenders,we have enough attacking midfielders for him to link with.About the midfield Zakora and Huddlestone are both week links,Zakora can do nothing more than tackle which is fine for the lower leagues,but his passing is woeful and Huddlestone is to slow and does not have enough about him to be the backbone of this side.

It's half time in the Carling Cup game between Newcastle and Spurs and it's 0-0. It's got to be decided tonight and I'm predicting that it WILL be decided in Newcastle's favour with a decision by the referee.

From what I've seen he's given half a dozen absolutely diabolical decisions in favour of the home team. None of them (so far) have been in situations serious enough to hurt Spurs but mark my words, it's only a matter of time.

I'd also like to say that, given a fair playing field and the fact that Dawson doesn't darken the pitch, Spurs should win this with a goal on the counter.
