I know what you mean mate. I didn't see the game, I'll watch it later, but I thought I was going to get my head punched in in the pub when San Marino scored that early goal that time against England. I just bust out laughing. It was so bizzare. It just wasn't supposed to happen

We'd been hearing people all week debating whether England would score 8 or if it was going to be more and there we were after no minutes actually losing

Same thing in the England Macedonia game the other year. Sometimes we set ourself up so high and you've just got to laugh when you get the pie in your face

I have always believed that one should play for ones country for the immense honour,to show integrity of character and pride in ones birthright.
The only semblance of this I see is in the genuine supporters.

I remember that too ODM , we just looked at eachother and laughed!
Fukin Pearces' fault too.We ended up watching the Wales game after that.

The result really was irrelevant really and I cant believe folks were betting on it (apart from the overs I suppose).
Carrick aint up to it , lennon could be a decent weapon to bring on with his pace , Owen looks sharp , that's about it really
