Re: Ronaldo speaks - I'm off to Madrid
Calm down wayne , we are allowed to laugh at manure yaknow
Turns out to be a load of bollocks anyway , but it's win-win as when I txted my rag mates they to a man said ' fuk him the big puff'
This is why the rags are hated , they simply cant take any sort of ribbing whatsoever, they believe that cos they decided in 99 to support them that they somehow are above other fans, as if they actually contributed to the teams sucess whereas they simply bought a top and subscribed to skysports.
How'd ya like the Glaziers now wayne??

Thing is Keem, bollox comments like that are spoken by ABUs the length and breadth of the country. I was merely commenting that, having not been around for a while, it didn't take long for me to find the inevitable ABU thread. As much as the ABU's slag off, criticise, piss-take, insult.....they just can't stop talking about Utd. Either wondered if we don't really care and the ABU argument is actually a 'piss-take' back? Anyway, done all this before so I'm not gonna waste any more time on it.
As for Ronny, the fucker should either say he's staying or fuck off. Equally the Press should spend more time writing about the news instead of writing about something that won't/hasn't happened. Yet more of this OTT fascination the press/country has with Utd.
As for the Glazers, wouldn't piss on them...... Club still heavily in debt so my opinion hasn't changed. After 20 years of going to OT (which makes me a pre-99 supporter - oh and born and bred in Stretford as well - I can hear your stereotypes shattering all around you), I have never been back since they took over.

Build a bonfire....
Park J whoever you may be.....
Steve Gerrard (puts in a transfer request)....
Gary Neville is a red.....
YNWA- You'll never get a job...
Without Killing anyone we won it 3 times...
Michael Sheilds got 10 more years...
And Utd cant stop singing about us.
Thing is with United Wayne they are the most loved and most hated at the same time, unlike many other clubs there doesnt seem to be any in between.
They're like Marmite mate.

Re: Ronaldo speaks - I'm off to Madrid
Why is this an anti-united thread btw?
It's a bit of breaking news that will affect all our fantasy football teams, you're sooo touchy Wayne.
So you didn't enjoy winning the Champs League then with the team the Glazers bankroll?

Utd and Marmite. Never thought of it like that.
Wouldn't say the Scousers are ABUs Kop. You're just Scousers. And we both know how intense our rivalry is. Think the songs work both ways though.

Not really breaking news though is it? If he was going to come out and say something 'official', why would he do it to an online Brazilian magazine? Loads of scope for fabrication, mis-translation, etc. Once again, the Press are making a story out of nothing and people are jumping on the bandwagon because they'd love him to go - either because Utd lose their best player or because they think Ronny's a prick. The in above posts give me that impression.
He may go, he may not. As I said, I wish he'd put an end to all the speculation and tell us what he's doing. He's in major danger of alienating himself with the Utd fans (aka glory-hunters ) in a way that Rio did over his contract. As well as Rio played this year, his 'fan status' has never really recovered from that - ever heard a Rio song?
Just on a point of glory-hunters. As City have the most loyal fan base in the world (apparently) after years of misery and failure. Why are they (and Newcastle) not banded about as failure-hunters?

Course I did. Be a liar if I said I didn't Keem. But before the Glazers, we had a bankroll without shitloads of debt and we have won it before you know - in fact, I've just checked my Glory-Hunters manual and we have won it twice before. Didn't know that.
The point is the price of going to Utd now is massively more expensive than a few years ago. Prices go up. Fine. But the disproportionate increases at United are to pay off their debt. Who's funding the Glazer bankroll? - not me!
