Annan Athletic: Scottish League New Boys

I must admit i'm a little dissapointed annan got in. I dont like the footballing region that they come from and when stranraer are struggling to get 100 home fans a week it doesnt bode welll. Maybe i dont know enough about them. Lets have a read-

Ten things you need to know about the SFL newcomers.
1 Annan were formed in 1942 and have played in the Dumfries and District Youth Welfare League, Dumfries and District Junior Football Association, Carlisle and District League, South of Scotland League and, most recently, East of Scotland League.
2 Their ground is Galabank in Annan, which has a capacity of 2000. Their previous home was Mafeking Park.
3 Galabank boasts a modern 426-seat stand - but no floodlights. But funding is in place for the installation of floodlights by August.
4 Annan had a blank season in 1951-52 because the then Secretary of the Scottish Junior Association, John Kinnear, would not release the club from SJA membership.
5 Harry Cairney is in his second spell as manager. He first took on the job in 2003, before returning in season 2006-07 after a stint at Arbroath.
6 Annan failed in their previous attempt to join the SFL in 2000. They were one of nine clubs who applied for entry, with Peterhead and Elgin winning the vote.
7 Of the five clubs who applied to join the SFL this time around, Annan are geographically closest to Gretna, the club who created the vacancy after going out of business last season.
8 Davie Irons is a former manager of Annan.
9 Simon Tucker holds the club record for most goals scored in a game after finding the net nine times in a 14-1 win over Abbey Vale in 1997.
10 The club's biggest win came four years ago when they thrashed Newton Stewart 18-0 in the East of Scotland League. Top scorer on the night was Ross Kerr with six goals

Nah i think thats a poor recruit for the Scottish league and i would have much prefered them to look at junior sides if that was poss. anything but annan surely?
