The last series was amazing, a weekly date in our collective university diaries for Beanie, Pistol and myself. So much money changed hands during the course of that series between us. Lots of shouting at the TV and keeping meighbours awake too.

I like these type of programs but can never commit myself to be being around or either forget they are on the week after.

Caught an episode of a similar program on UK gold a few week ago about UFC with some wannabe's challenging for a place on the pro circuit, great viewing but it's only this thread that has reminded me about it, thats half the problem nowadays with so many channels u flick through and something catches the eye , stay up half the night watching it pissed up then forget about it the next day.

Way to many channels with reality involved, yet if these contenders are that good anyhow why don't they make it anyhow via the usual route rather than depending on another reality tv program?

Big brother fair enough as their all numpties and would struggle to get a job in Tesco's but to try and make out ure world championship material at boxing is another matter.

Some of them are past champions and they are all semi-pro or pro already, thats what makes it really good cause they are already great fighters and it makes the fights good. The programme gives them the chance to win $1 million and get their name well known.
