TaylorMade Golf

I know we have some golfers on here...I was wondering if anyone plays any of the new TaylorMade Irons--r7 CGB, r7 XD or RAC OS2? If you do, or know anyone who does, I'd love to get your opinion on them. Thanks

Re: TaylorMade Golf

Yeah Golfs sweet I can imagine myself getting pretty into it at some point down the line. Have done in spells throughout my youth, not for a long while now though. Almost all pitch and putt stuff though as I cant hit woods or like 3 irons good to save my life!

Be sure to check out the Ryder cup thread in 'other sports' golf fans

Re: TaylorMade Golf

Thanks guys. They do get great write-ups and I've seen some solid reviews by average handicappers too. Just thought I'd see if anyone here had any experience with em.

I used to play a lot in high school and college, but got really burnt out it for a few years. Getting back into it now and it's time to take advantage of all the tech these days.

Re: TaylorMade Golf

Hi Sd, There are some very nice clubs outthere including the clubs you mentioned,I would suggest to you get down the golf shop and try lots of different clubs out,put the club club behind the ball and see wish club gives you the most confidence to strike the ball well, and then get them custom fit.Custom fitting your grip shaft length and shaft flex will help you maximise your distance.

Re: TaylorMade Golf

Thanks Basher. Things sure have change since I bought my last set of clubs. I've been hitting clubs like crazy. Here's my short list:

Taylor Made r7 CGB Max and r7 XD
Callaway X-18
Ping G5

A local club is having a demo day this weekend, so I'm gonna hit all these again and get fitted
