There’s a show on BBC tonight (9) about the bung culture prevalent in football. Looks like it will be worth a watch if the Beebs lawyers don't shred it.

These things have a habit of "revealing" stuff that 95% of people within the game already know about. It gives the papers a chance to fill some column inches in the next day or so but everyone knows that fuck all is going to happen to the people involved because they're all feathering their own fuckin nests and always have been.

If it goes to form it will all be "Where did the missing thousands go from this, that and the other transfer" All questions - no fuckin answers.

Wait for the bit at the end that will say something like "The BBC have handed this report over to the FA for further investigation"

Heresay, sour grapes and total bollox. That's what you're gonna get. Plus some soft cunt getting stitched up with a hidden camera or two.

None of it admissable as any sort of evidence in any sort of enquiry that's gonna get anything done.

The FA will be looking at the stuff right now and finding ways to look like they've done something about it without actually having to do anything about it.

Maybe ban some agent or other (who's probably been retired to the Bahamas for the last three years anyway) by way of a scapegoat and hope the fucker goes away.

Gonna be a let down.

Well they definately implicate Sam and Arneson also it's telling that Kevn Bond has resigned. Harry apparently was aware of the crooked nature of the supposed agency but was willing to do business. You never know with these things but the beeb definately implicated those folk.

I didnt watch the programme, whats wrong with a bung anyway? Isnt it just some of the agents money going to the manager to make the deal go through or smoother or whatever?

yeah i know what your saying but in business you cant be taking backhanders for doing your job no matter what really. If it happened where I worked they would be sacked .

they started this undercover stuff 2 years ago ODM , would have been unlikely to have found anything out had they done it live ffs!

Yeah obviously its against the rules or whatever but people do 'deals' in business all the time dont they. If someone said heres a bit of cash if you sell this player to such and such asap and they wanted rid anyway then why not. Sounds dodgy but you can see why it happens. Its not like match fixing which just plain sucks.
