Shame about Blackwell.

Impossible task, did a decent job of stabilising the club. Apparently people like Barmby were still on the payroll until last summer and Danny Mills still is on the payroll. Massive massive contraints. Unrealistic expectations from the fans.

Possible names in the frame..... I'd fancy Curbs to take this. He said he fancied a few months off, he's had about 4 months away from football and surely has to be chomping at the bit as far as getting back 'in' is concerned.

Pretty strange how they let him manage last nights game and sacked him after that. Would've been better to have got rid of him after the weekend gone.

Ranieris a non starter surely theres no money ffs & one thing he definetly needs is money. So does Keegan really but people can say what they like about Kev he gets a club moving & its good to watch with a feelgood atmosphere. Cant see him coming back into the game though tbh

I feel sorry for Blackwell, I think hes done a decent job in the circumstances & although I agree it was inevitable under Bates I dont feel it should have been tbh

Curbs is favourite for Albion as well & you could argue long & hard about which is the better job there, but I thought he was on the Charlton payroll until xmas, or have I made that up

Martin Allen at 80/1 looks interesting, & Dave Penney @ 16's, otherwise its Hoddle @ 3/1 for me I think

It doesent work like that at City Winrew as its too simple, Curbishley would have to go to Leeds then a day or two later City would decide to sack Pearce and then decide Curbishley is the man for City so pay Leeds around half a mill in compo to bag their man and another half mill to pay off Pearce. who would then take the Leeds job.
