The first ( and probably ) only casualty of the Bung report shown on Panorama !!!

Newcastle have terminated the contract of assistant manager Kevin Bond.
Bond was placed on gardening leave after a BBC Panorama programme secretly recorded him saying he would consider receiving payments from an agent.

No big surprise that to be honest , none of the big names are gonna get caught out........ Newcastle seemed to have jumped the gun a bit , unless of course they know more than they are letting on , would that surprise us ?

Football is a dirty buisness and only Mike Newell seems to be big enough to point the finger.............

I can remember there being a story about the 'bungs' that FIFA had been accepting ?

It wasn't until Blatter took over and they sent him or someone like it a bung and they asked what it was for (from a sponsor - i think).

But I agree they've probably jumped the gun and everything will get washed under the carpet by the FA and the only club that will have tried to do something looks like Newcastle but a lot of water should pass under this bridge (or carpet....)
