Collymore was, is and always will be a first class prick
(Part of) story by Phil McNulty -
BBC Sport 04 October 2006
Great performances at Liverpool were mixed with some desperate displays, very public sulking and off-the-field troubles.
No-one could have offered Collymore more support than Liverpool manager Roy Evans.
A decent, dignified man, Evans once stood in the gym at Liverpool's training headquarters and read out an apology on behalf of Collymore for his latest misdemeanour.
Collymore himself was nowhere to be seen, but Evans was protective and thought he was helping his player.
Evans' reward was a lurid revelation about Collymore's relationship with his daughter in his book.
That was Collymore - only too happy to let other people down if it served his purpose.

61 - Pepe Reina
That was the one that surprised me. Not seen much of Liverpool lately, but has he actually done anything much to justify being anywhere near the top 100?

Last season he was superb RC and his record is one of the best around for saving penalties but he hasn't performed nowhere near to his best so far this season, i'd go as far as saying he's let us down and cost us points on two occasions already.

By the way, Kop, when I saw the title for some reason I didn't immediately think of the Kop as in the part of Anfield, I thought you'd gone all David "The Hoff" Hasselhoff on us and you were talking about yourself in the 3rd person.

Eh? NOOOOO

I always liked Molby, but its definetly biased towards the modern day players....as invariably all this type of stuff is I guess

Molby was signed from Ajax and the big Dane soon developed a scouse accent

he scored 42 penalties for us in the days when we used to get one every week and he still puts on the red shirt to play in the 5 a side masters games, knocked the ball about just like Xabi and Gerrard do today. And yes the votes do favour the modern day players a bit especially with Carra' but i still wouldn't disagree with the top 5.
