Thats a shock tbh Its a sport I play loads but only follow from a distance & although I knew he had cancer he'd slipped under the radar tbh. 27 years old ?? Jesus
Jeez, I am 10 years older than him. You never expect people of his age to get cancer and then die from it.
Like Kiko says, the last I remember of hearing about him was that he played (was it World Championship?) while obviously struggling health wise and was then planning to take a break to try and battle back to fitness. From that you sort of assumed he had beat it and was going to be back sometime soon.
Think thats the biggest shock of it all, everyone expected him to get better and be back.
