Have to say i near pissed myself laughing just there when i heard about this. Thought it was a wind up to be honest.

What exactly has Becks done that he should, if as is reported, be knighted?

I do rate him as a player but he hasn't done much himself really? I mean he even most likely cost England a place in the next round of the World Cup in 98.

Other players far more deserving who have single handedly delivered the goods for their sides with Gerrard springing to mind straight away.

He's never been my favorite bloke and I hate his stupid pouting ugly rake of a missis but definitely only a matter of time for me.

The blokes been an embassador for his country around the world. Only a matter of time and I reckon it'll come as soon as he retires.

Gerrard is just a footballer and fat frank is not even that at the moment.

I couldnt think of a better current player that deserves it..As ODM says he is an embassador for the sport and does a hell of a lot for charity.. I could think of a few less deserving knights..

I was looking at it from a football playing perspective. Guess he does deserve it then.

Probably mate. And then there's all the football acadamy stuff which I think he genuinely is trying to put something back for underprivlidged kids, rather than just a big self-publicity stunt.


He deserves a knighthood just for putting up with Skelatore.
