Just checking back through premiership history and only once before has a team come from more than 5 points down from Dec 31st to win the league. (Arsenal in 97-98 were 12 points down going into the new year). What does it prove.......jack schitt but thought i would share it with you anyway.

Also since 98-99 two of the bottom three at least at 31st December have gone on to be relegated. I wouldnt bet against all three again this season.

COULD be a key day in the title race this weekend couldnt it. If Man Utd win and Chelsea lose, the gap would be 9pts and as Man Utds goal difference is far superior it would be job done wouldnt it really.

Im still not convinced Mr M as United still have to go to Stamford Bridge. They have been fortunate with injuries so far and they cant continue getting the luck you'd think.

Chelsea are at rock bottom right now but they are only going to improve when Terry, Carvahlo etc come back.

Still a long way to go. Momentums definately with United at the minute but i wouldnt count Chelsea out just yet.
