Big Sam for England

Guided a team with no world class players in it to success.

It's obvious really. Big Sam for England.

Re: Big Sam for England

He's guided a team with plenty of world class players m8 just that he picks them up well past there sell by date and gets a couple more yrs out of them.
This yr has been a bit different as he's spent a few bob on Anelka but he has not had that privilege in the past.

Guiding England would be a different kettle of fish but as he is probbaly the best English manager we have i'll agree he would do a lot better job than Mclaren.
Coppell is the one to watch as his man management skills are second to none.

Re: Big Sam for England

Its strange with Coppell as ive seen him in interviews, seems like such a boring bastard with no charisma, amazes me how he is such a good manager.

Me to Chris but he's never failed to produce with no hardly any cash what so ever so he must have what it takes to motivate players.
We actually had him as our own manager until it emerged he was queer or summat and he fcuked off after a fortnight.

Re: Big Sam for England

The thing with Coppell that for me means he would never be up for the England job is that he left City due to the stress of the position. There is no job with more pressure imposed than the England one.

Big Sam should have got the job, would have got a couple extra years out of Scholes, persuaded Shearer to play on for one more swansong, and bring in Ronaldinho on a free from Brazil.

Re: Big Sam for England

Sam is by far and away the best manager in the world, possibly ever.

Bolton play sexy football these days anyway. I wont hear of people slagging them off. They destroyed West Haaaaam the other day. Immense, no other word for it.
