Lee McCulloch Punch

Wigan's Lee McCulloch has apologised to Sheffield United captain Chris Morgan following an incident in Saturday's game which left Morgan with a cut eye.



The Football Association may act over the incident, in which McCulloch swung his right arm at Morgan, as referee Peter Walton semed to have missed it.

United won the game 1-0 and minutes after the final whistle McCulloch asked to speak to Morgan and shake his hand. Neither team's manager saw the incident in second-half stoppage time.

Anyone see this yesterday?

Absolutely disgusting actions by McCulloch and i hope he gets banned for the season as there is no fucking need for what he did.

Morgan took it well i have to say accepting is apoligy but i wouldve told him to fuck off as it was no accident.

I saw him on Sky last night. The sound was off when he was being interviewed and I assumed he was a rugby player. Fook me.

Not sure if it was Mick Harford and John Hartson , but one of them made a similar comment on Goals on Sunday this morning.

They showed it a few times and looked delibrate to me but good on Morgan for getting on with the game

Had his chane for revenge. I mean McCulluch must hav balls, he went into the United changing room straight after game to apoligise. Morgan couldve made mince meat of him if he wished but i take my hat off to him for the way he has gone about it
