Refereeing Calamaties.....

Probably escaped your attention, but yesterday a Boston player was sent off for trying to leave the pitch (to be substituted) on the wrong side.

Is that a sending off offence? I thought it was hilarious actually, the player looked well miffed.

The Beeb dont make any reference to it, I'd like to know though.

Any referees in the house?
