I remember seeing something about that a while ago. We played them in the CL qualifier the year before last. I think their last 3 managers have been ex-Kaunas too if I'm not much mistaken.

Does Litvinenko have a share in Kaunas or something? There has to be a reason why he keeps on buying and loaning their bloody players.

He was interviewed ages ago and revealed that a dream of his was to see a Hearts team that contained 11 Lithuanian players. :loon .

Which is weird, because Vlad is a f*cking Russian himself.

He also has a majority share in Kaunas I believe. He's taken so many players from them that the FB Kaunas fans recently protested against the mad b*stard.

Not to mention the 3 managers in Ivanauskas, Malofeev and Riabovas (although he never took over officially at the club).

Anyway, I expect that in the near future, you can expect to see Gordon replaced with Steve Banks or one of the Lithy keepers he brought in recently (making the club at least £5m), punting big earners like Jankauskas, Fyssas etc and punting the rest of any Scottish/Other talent like Neilson, Lee Wallace, Bednar etc etc etc.

Once he's done all that, he should be able to get the debt way down from £28m.

No idea what Mad Vlad is going to do with the club after that though, thats anyones f*cking guess, mentalist that he is.
