not that I am aware of, but I think it makes the manager and chairman of Madrid look stupid after saying he would not play for them again. I think it was their first win in 5? and Beckham also set up the winner for Nistelrooy.

I said the other weekn when i heard about Beckham not going to be playing for Madrid again that i felt it was harsh as he was as true a professional as you will get so was good to see him get the start, play well and even score. He must of felt as good as he has for a long while now.
Have to say fair play to Cappello too. Not many managers would have theballs to go against their original opinion like that and take the playerback into the line up. He certainly went up a bit in my estimation for that.
I am absolutely chuffed for Beckham. Capello's reaction when he scored was class. Beckham has been very dignified in his response to the whole situation. I think he is a future head of the U.N. or something - the guy's brilliant.
Yip has always kept his mouth shut and just got on with doing his business.
Something which must be very tough considering the amount of hassle he gets and the way he has been pretty much fucked over by alot of people involved in football.
