Sven-Goran Eriksson's agent has vigorously denied claims that the former England manager will be in charge of a Premiership club next season.
Eriksson has been out of a job since last summer's World Cup disappointment, but is still on the Football Association's payroll as part of his severance deal.
But his managerial exile was about to end after Eriksson's long-term partner Nancy Dell'Olio claimed the Swede had landed a job with one of England's top-flight teams.
Dell'Olio had said in an interview with Glamour magazine: "Yes, he's got another job with a Premiership club, which won't start until next season.
"So we'll be staying in Britain, but I can't say any more."
However, Eriksson's representative Athole Still has poured cold water on Dell'Olio's claims.
Still said in the Daily Telegraph: "It's categorically untrue that there's any agreement for Sven to go to a Premiership club next season."
