Ripped from the SMS Joke thread...

Quote:
Bin Laden has sent out a new message to prove he is still alive.

He said "MAN CITY were shit at the weekend!"

Intelligence has since dismissed it saying this could have been recorded anytime in the last 30years.

Re: City Players - Not fit to wear the shirt?

Ha bloody Ha MrM:gett1n

Anyway , this from teamtalk smells and sounds like the truth

Quote:
According to The Daily Mirror, the Blues will face Chelsea on Wednesday night with Dunne and troubled team-mate Joey Barton being blanked by a group led by strikers Georgios Samaras and Bernardo Corradi and defender Sylvain Distin.
Apparently caught in the middle are youngsters Micah Richards, Nedum Onuha and Stephen Ireland.
The simmering tensions between the factions were publicly displayed during the FA Cup defeat at Blackburn, when Corradi was seen mouthing a swear word at Barton.
A City source told the tabloid: "You could cut the atmosphere with a knife before the game and it's just the youngsters you feel sorry for because they have been put in a difficult position.
"They don't want to be seen to get involved so they are just trying to keep the peace."
Meanwhile, Danny Mills has joined Dunne in questioning the attitude of some players.
The former England defender, who is sidelined with shin splints, told Radio Five Live: "He (Dunne) just thought enough is enough.
"There is a little bit of frustration creeping in. He is the club captain and rightly so. He has every right to criticise people.
"He has done it publicly and sometimes people have to stand up and be counted.
"I do not think he was wrong in what he said. One or two people are unhappy about what he said but they have to respond in the correct way."

Re: City Players - Not fit to wear the shirt?

Didnt Corradi 'knight' Barton just a month or so ago?

How times change.

Re: City Players - Not fit to wear the shirt?

Keema,

The only issue I would have with that Team Talk comment, bar the fact that they generally talk utter shite for a living, is while I can understand Corradi and Samaras being split from Dunne etc, I can't understand the mention of Distin in there as being on their side. As far as I was aware Dunne's comments were about "new players" taking too long to settle and not doing enough for the club. Distin doesn't really fall into the new player category in anyway. Therefore I think its another Team Talk bollocks.

Cant figure out why City fans sing 'Blue Moon', Id have thought 'Total Eclipse' by Maiden was more appropriate.

Well another defeat there.

Took until the 92nd minute for a shot on target and it was a poor effort. Different tactics, personel etc but it didnt make a difference

"I've got a fantastic job at a fantastic football club. I'm just looking forward to winning the game at Middlesbrough if possible.
"Do I have the chairman's full support? "Well I don't walk past him (John Wardle) every day and ask him if I've got his full support. The other night he bought me a sandwich at the reserve game and that's a real show of affection from our chairman."
There you have it folks, Pearce is going nowhere cos he got bought a sandwich

Re: City Players - Not fit to wear the shirt?

yes yes yes , very good everyone , let's all laugh at city :gett1n

I just dropped my 7 year old lad off at school , there were 5 of his mates waiting for him to have a pop about city getting beat yet again.
It gave me a chill through my whole body as I realised I was putting my beloved first born through the same torture I had experienced 30 years ago. This is the unseen affects of that cnut Pearce's inability to be a manager of a football team. Luckily as the kids were United fans it was very simple to blindside them , I told my son to tell them that we let Chelski win so as when we beat Manure and Chelski then beat them they would win nothing again.

This morning I hear on the radio that he wouldn't walk away from the job even if he thought he COULDN'T save us from relegation.

Is their no beginning to the end of this man's utter stupidity , again last night he put the club to shame with his infantile touchline interference.
Stuart you have retired from football , you cant play anymore.
now fuk off

Re: City Players - Not fit to wear the shirt?

I take no pleasure in ripping the mick out of Citeh. Most of my mates are City fans and I feel sorry for them. Forking out top dollar to watch a load of shite most weeks.

Still would like to find out what sort of sarnie Stuart goes for.....

Sent an email via City's website now. Awaiting a response....

Hi

I read in today's paper that the Gaffer (Stuart pearce) was bought a sandwich at the reserve game the other week by the Chairman, John Wardle.

I dont suppose you could clarify what sort of sandwich it was that Mr Wardle bought could you? Only I would be most intrerested to know what Stuart's filling of choice is and indeed feel it is a burning issue currently that needs to be addressed.

I hope you can help.

For the record, my money's on cheese and ham with branston and no salad. Pearce is a hard man and doesnt need any green muck on his sarnies thankyou very much.

Thanks in advance

Re: City Players - Not fit to wear the shirt?

It was probably just cheese - bland, uninspiring etc

Sorry id never take the piss if City went down though but whilst they arent in the relegation zone I think its fair game. Big game that Man City v Charlton one in a few weeks. City win that and theyll be fine, lose and it all gets very hairy though. They shouldnt lose really, Charlton have been so awful away this season only winning the once.

Re: City Players - Not fit to wear the shirt?

He is an absolute idiot.

Has anyone ever seen a manager shout at the players from the touchline, telling them who to throw the ball too etc.. all the fuckin time.

I heard that too "even if i wasnt the right man for the job, id still do it"

Oh my god he is dangerously thick.
