Cant understand this one. Selling the Nuge for a good mil and a half less than what they paid a month ago. Hardly sound economics is it?
Obviously Harry realises he is a pile of wank, and has never had that good of a goalscoring record, 1 in 3 in the championship, 1 in 3 in League 2, but no no all football fans raved about him without ever knowing much about him.

You really did laugh at me when I said Chopra would do better than Nugent and that Nugent is massively overrated AFU.. Im bleating on about it because I was so pissed off at the time.

Transfer or assasination, either one would be a benefit for Newcastle.

Citeh have a Peruvian on trial Nelson Cuevas , thats some inside knowledge dont quote me on it , same source who told me that Terry Christian ordered a nice salad on Sunday nght at a local eatarie which was garnished with the bodily fluids of a couple of citeh fans, he downed it greedily too.
I know it's disgusting but everyone hates the cnut , even manure fans.

Indeed Rockin, looks like the Yak is on his way

Fernandes red tape should be sorted soon and hopefully have them both in at the weekend. Thats the 2 missing pieces in an already throughably enjoyable puzzle. I think our team is more or less as good as anything out there now.

13/2 without the top 4? Yes please

I agree Fernandes looks the biz , a kind of poor mans Elano you could say

Is it me or is 27 million for a full back a bit over the top?

Have you not got Pienaar to try to fit in there somewhere too?

Re: Karl-Heinz Rumour Mill

This is true rc but well hes only on loan and if everyones fit doesnt look like he can get in the squad tbh. Same with Shandy Van De Meyde hed have to go. Also ive put Carsley/Neville in the team so one of them would go on the bench or out the squad as well. If I had my way Carsley would be in and Neville on the bench. Id also have Osman in for Cahill, move Fernandes to the middle and have Osman on the right. Cahill would be my super sub for when shit needed sorting. Id either have to drop Stubbs or Anichebe from the bench as well which would suck, probly Anichebe since I got Vaughn and Cahill there already.

Re: Karl-Heinz Rumour Mill

FWIW I actually think Yakubu is overpriced at 11m, I think the 7.5m Boro paid for him a few years ago was the right price. Hes a solid scorer 4 seasons on the trot so im happy to buy into that consistent quality BUT despite coming 5th, 4th, 8th, 8th in the last 4 years prem scoring charts it has to be remembed he was taking the penalties which makes a big difference. He wont be taking the penos for us. Disregarding penalties the Yaks scored 41 Prem goals in 4 seasons in a very consistent fashion, which is solid but nowhere close to prolific.

Nugent is terrible - its amazing how he ever got an England call up imo. He has no pace, skill. Harrys probably wanting to cut his losses on him now.

Id be delighted with 1.5m for Graveson - that would be a decent amount of business and would get back some the cash that we have wasted on him.

Get rid of Graveson to fund a top drawer CB. I would be happy with that.

I'd pay £12m for Richards but not Davies. He's alright but he's no megastar.

Anyone else think he's worth anywhere near 12 million sheets?

Richards is worth at the very least 25 million, but I think we would even reject that.

Rio went for near 30 and he was older and not even as good as Richards at his age.

Plus Richards can play in any position all over the pitch. He started out in CM, he used to play on the wing, he's so good he can play anywhere.

Re: Karl-Heinz Rumour Mill

Ditto Chris, Richards is still only 19 and one of the best defenders i've ever seen, he's a mixture of the old and new school as he has a never say die attitude and shirks nothing, has pace, can run and dribble with a ball and can jump like a gazelle.

Unlike Ferdinhand you'll never see him struggling on the back foot and even if he falls over he'll get back up and soon chase the man down.

He's like a Bionic Tommy Smith with elastic legs and at only 19 yrs old can only get better, I just hope he steers clear of injury as the way he plays puts a lot of exertion on the body.

If he can do that then he has the world at his feet.

I'm still sorry we never grabbed Nathan Baines in the summer as the pair of them together could have come on leaps and bounds and with them both being English it would have beared well for the future where Internationals are concerned.
