I'm still sorry we never grabbed Nathan Baines in the summer
Do you mean Leighton Baines or Gareth Bale? Or is there a player called Nathan Baines as well
Quote:
I just hope he steers clear of injury as the way he plays puts a lot of exertion on the body.
Thats a good point about the playing style. Theres a 19yr old Everton striker called James Vaughn, who you should have heard of. Hes a real get in there hard, hustle, quick old skool player. He could be a really good player looks to have star quality. BUT he keeps getting injured and it could just be unlucky or it could be the ballbusting style of play. Hes out for 3 months with a shoulder injury picked up in preseason currently. Already got laid off for over a year with a cruciate knee injury playing for England another time. Was out at the end of last season with a burst leg vein or something.
Nah i mean Leighton Baines Muze, and its not the first time I've called him Nathan for some un-explicable reason.
I've heard good things about James Vaughn allthough i've yet to see him play but that goes for a few young players or so a yr i also hear about from the north west as most of the blokes i work with are keen fans of their respective teams and never fcuking shut up about their prospective players.
defenders seem to take more knocks than anybody but a cruciate problem at such an early age could prove disastarous as i've never seen a player yet recover 100% from one.
GL to him anyhow as at one time it meant the end of ones career untill they found out a dead mans ligament could fill a spot.
Aswell as Richards we also have Onuoha who is a virtual clone of Richards and its no coincidence they played a lot together at a young age in the academy and would have been a good reason to bring in a young left back like Baines who could have prospered even further by working alongside them.
Leighton Baines is a class act Muze and should IMO have been picked ahead of Shorey For England as he's more effective when going forward, Shorey is what u call a dependable fullback but nowadays u need a bit more in ure locker especially now defensive players are expected to help out offensively.

Yeah I know what you mean, everyone thinks they have a star in the making dont they Seriously though Vaughn could be a true top class striker I swear, you know how you just see a player and know they are true quality straight away. Just something in the demeanour even. He should be in there getting the games instead of Anichebe in all honesty and he would be too if he could stop getting crocked. Anichebe is the same age but hes nowhere near as good. Hes alright but hell never be top notch.
I was well pleased when we got Baines as well. Ive not seen much but what ive seen I liked a lot. Have to see if he gets his first game for us tomorrow hopefully.
Baines is one of the new breed of players that can run all day long Muze, he's still only a kid and will make the odd mistake but he goes in where it hurts and has a sweet left foot.
It may take him a season or so to settle in but percivere and you'll have a class act on your hands and barring Injury the regular England left back within the next 2 yrs, personally i'd have picked him ahead of Shorey once Ashley Cole was injured but obviously Mclaren thinks he's to young.

I agree what your saying about just knowing.
He looks absolutely class when i see him. Great strength and power with a touch of class too. Always seems to work his arse off too for the team.
Shame hes totally injury prone though which is worrying at such a young age.

Yeah thats the thing, it could simply be bad luck but its looking a bit dodgy now hes injured yet again. After he comes back in November or so thatll be when well see I guess. Although hes missed the boat a bit on his first team chances, he coulda been in as a regular for many games now, but weve just bought Yak to go with Johnson now and with Anichebe in the mix with more experience chances are a lot more limited than they would have been. He must be pretty pissed off cos he got picked first choice for a few games in a row last season before getting that freak burst leg vein, pretty frustrating it must be.
I just heard Fernandes has done some absolute last minute u-turn and agreed to join Valencia. So queer, he was even at the Everton v Blackburn game and has agreed terms and trained with the squad for a week and everything. Wanker
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will break the bank to sign Barcelona's Brazilian forward Ronaldinho after having two meetings with his brother and agent. (Daily Mail)
Good, I really hope this overrated cunt gets to play in the Premiership so we can see just how average he is.
It will also really fuck up Chelsea's title challenge too. Get in!

Hmmmmmmm - I am sure Muze will have more to say on this. Must admit though that I am a tad suprised. This deal's been set in stone for weeks now.

Fernandes is a wanker. Could have at least gone back on his word early enough to give us time to sign a different midfielder
Its the most important part of our team thats missing, the only real missing bit, a quality passing central midfielder. We cant have Carsley and Neville as first choice in the middle any longer, its just so average and uncreative. And even when Cahill comes back hes a different type of player, not a Arteta/Fernandes type.

£200k a week by all accounts for the goofy fuckwit.
I wonder whether this is a Mourinho buy, or Abramovich ruling the roost again - just like Sheva.

Kevin Nolan would be an ace signing for Everton IMO. A right little grafter with craft. One of my favourite players actually.
Undoubtedly a good player. But I dont know if I'd want him playing in my team. Adriano just seems like a bit of a cunt of a person - he'd fit right in at West Ham then. Dont get me wrong, I'm not knocking his ability - just his personality, drive, ambition and attitude.
