Fergie.......

According to the Mirror, Fergie is due to stay on for another 3 years at Man U. It probably takes a lot of guts to know yourself, know your team and bow out when you are at the top.

He is probably 2 or 3 years past his best and if Shareholders United have their way, he could be the first Manager to win the Champions League and get a team relegated too! Its sure not to be an easy ride at the helm of a club owned by a big nosed Leprachaun..

He wants to get United back to the top and to see the likes of Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Darren Fletcher become world-class players.
2 out of 3 aint bad eh...........

Know your limits! Go out gracefully! Ala Shanks, Paisley etc!!!

He should have left three years ago when they fluked the Premiership in Beckhams last season. If he had any brains he would have known that Arsenal were by far the best outfit that year who just bottled it in the run in. The Gunners proved it the next season by going unbeaten.

Yep - he should have thanked his lucky stars and left then.

Re: Fergie.......

Its sad really because is dragging the club back down after it taking him so many years to make it into a consistant club. Now they consistantly underachieve and thats about it.

Its not JUST the fact that he's a cnut... Maybe theres a big red nose conspiracy behind the take over. Fergie and Glazer do have ample nasal capacity for sure, and their conks have a distinct red tinge to say the least.

Re: Fergie.......

Well that's one theory.

Personally it's his dealings in the transfer market that show more than anything that he has lost it. Apart from Rooney and Ferdinand (who the whole of the UK would have bought, so no gold stars there) you can only credit him with two decent signings - Heinz and Ronaldo. Even Ronaldo was bought as the PLAYERS at Man Utd were impressed with him when they played against him in a friendly.

I also remember him commenting how no goalkeeper was worth £10,000,000 to sign. He was commenting on Buffon a few years ago. How much shit has he stuck between the posts since then? I bet he wishes he had spent £10,000,000 now.

Oh and he's a cnut by the way...

Fletcher will get there. He's looked a decent talent the times I've seen him. And by God we need him....... (Scotland that is)
