England to be seeded?

Been talking elsewhere about the forthcoming World Cup draw which prompted this thread. Normally England just miss out on being seeded and end up in a so called group of death. Not only that if they finish runner up in the group they then have to face another seeded team in the 2nd round ala Argentina 2002. However this time it looks like they might be one of the first seeds. If the same criteria is used as before namely, last three years results and last threee world cups England would be seeded along side Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Germany, Italy Argentina and france. Holland, Portugal and Czech Rep would be the unlucky ones going in pot two and the teams to avoid in the group draw.

Yup was reading about this earlier.

Be a real confidence booster for them going into the finals as top seeds as it would be very very tough for them to be in the second pot and in a group with some very tough sides.

Although i have to say that bar the asian clubs i think this is the strongest WC there has been for aslong as i can remember now.

The African sides especially are going to be very very tough and should cause some surprises and Mexico and the USA will make some waves at it too.

I can't wait.
