Re: Should Be In For A Cracking Finish
Oh and Everton, Reading, Portsmouth, Bolton, Spurs
3 from those 5..that Everton vs Portsmouth game is massive, the winner of that will get one of the spots, the loser wont and its 2 from the other 3 for me.

I also think if that game is drawn then the other 3 get in most likely, very pivotal game and im going to it as well. That only stands true if Pompey dont win away to Villa tomorrow though, im presuming they wont in that assumption. The good thing for Everton is that if we do beat Pompey were big odds on to get in, like 1/5.
Im extremely pissed off Reading won today, fcuking Bolton cocking everything up. Its gona end up with us going to Stamford Bridge needing to get a result of some sort on the last day of the season I know it
The Arsenal v Chelsea game is a doozy as well dont forget. Anything could happen there.

How you can claim your a city fan is beyond me. Your a Gunner through and through
I would be the same opinion of you but since Henry and Van Persie have been injured Arsenal are struggling to score.
Some huge games to come.
Arsenal v Chelsea
Chelsea v Man Utd
Even Everton v Man Utd will be a great tie.
Going to be some end to the season. Just hope Chelsea beat Newcastle tomorow.

Re: Should Be In For A Cracking Finish
Chelsea bottled it eh.
Win today and the league was theirs i felt. Going to be difficult now as they are really 4 points behind rather than 3 because of their inferior goal difference.
Still going to be difficult for Man Utd mind. Next 3 fixtures verydifficult games away to Everton, Man City and Chelsea.
Cannot see them picking up max points here and can see them dropping points in 2 of these 3 games.
Injuries building up mixed in with the CL too. Going to be a hard task for them.

Re: Should Be In For A Cracking Finish
they didnt bottle it kiko but looked very leggy and tired if you ask me, Liverpool on the other hand looked quite fresh and Benitez even rested a couple of players yesterday , so his rotation policy may still work wonders yet after all the stick he has had about it.
The Midweek game between them should prove quite intriquing and current performances suggest Liverpool could quite easily sneak this.

If Chelsea had won today they would have been looking good I reckon when you see theyve got 3 home and Man Utd 3 away. They didnt even look like doing it today either, weird.

Re: Should Be In For A Cracking Finish
Well well well, Mourinho comes out today with a bit of tittle tattle that no doubt keeps the boys at Fleet Street very busy. Accusing the referees of being biased towards United.
He's right, but it isnt a new thing. Clubs have struggles with referee's decisions for 10 years now....

Mourinho fumes at referee 'bias'
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes his team's push for a third Premiership title is being undermined by decisions in favour of Manchester United.
Mourinho, speaking after his team's goalless draw at Newcastle, claimed Middlesbrough were denied a clear penalty at Old Trafford on Saturday.
"The circumstances are difficult for us with the new football rules that we have to face," said Mourinho.
"It is not possible to have a penalty against Manchester United."
Interview: Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho
Middlesbrough's Lee Dong-Gook appeared to be fouled by John O'Shea in the final minute of their 1-1 draw with United at Old Trafford - but a penalty was not awarded.
In United's previous game, Sheffield United were denied a spot-kick when Gabriel Heinze brought down Luton Shelton.

Mourinho has a just complaint

And Mourinho felt that his Chelsea team should have been given a penalty at Newcastle for a handball by Stephen Carr.
"It was a penalty at Old Trafford. It was a penalty to us. We are talking about points," he said.
"It is not a conspiracy, it is fact. I speak facts. If not, I need big glasses.
"If you tell me it was not a penalty for Sheffield United, or a penalty for Middlesbrough, or for us against Newcastle. I must go to my optician."
The Football Association told BBC Sport it is aware of Mourinho's remarks but is making no further comment at this stage.
MANCHESTER UNITED v CHELSEA
5-------Penalties won--------4
4----Penalties conceded----2
* Stats from Premiership only
Mourinho says he will be disappointed if he receives an FA charge.
"If they do, it is the end of democracy because I am only speaking of facts."
Chelsea, who have an inferior goal difference, could have closed the gap to one point on United if they had won at Newcastle.
But with four games left for each team - and a meeting between the two at Stamford Bridge in the penultimate game of their Premiership campaigns on 9 May - Mourinho said he was satisfied with his team's position.
I'm not saying we deserved to win
Jose Mourinho
"It was a chance missed to close the gap," added the Blues boss.
"But at the same time we had an away game and Man United had a home game and at the end of it the gap between us is the same. I do not think it is a drama.
"The target has been for a long time to finish this period - we have three of our last four matches at home and Man United have three of their four away - in a condition to be champions."
Mourinho was full of praise for his players after their match at Newcastle - and admitted the Magpies deserved a draw.
"I cannot ask for more of my players," added the Blues boss. "I think that what they are doing is absolutely amazing.
"We played against a team with fresh legs and without any kind of pressure.
"I'm not saying we deserved to win. Over the 90 minutes Newcastle played well and deserved a point."
