Arnesen suspended in Chelsea link

Spurs sporting director Frank Arnesen has been suspended after the White Hart Lane club claimed Chelsea approached the Dane without permission.

Just heard it from commentator on sky for the Scotland game. Unusual for them to ever announce these things over matches so must be pretty big news. Chelsea better watch what they are doing - points deduction etc are going to follow if they keep up like this!

I'm glad he's going he obviously did'nt have Spurs at heart,and just went along with he's job until a more lucrative deal come along good luck to him.
My team are now under threat by poachers 24/7 not that this type of thing that has gone on in the past,but at least have the decentsy to ask first.By the team the season starts my club could be a mess,it makes me wonder how many other of our players and staff that are under contract will be poached in this underhanded way of doing business by agents and dirty clubs like Chelsea

As long as they don't get close to having points deducted Chelsea will do what they like. At the end of the day £300,000 fines mean nothing to Roman Abramovich as he is a multi billionaire. Anyone who thinks that Mourinho paid his £200,000 fine out of his own pocket must be barking mad too.

Its funny in a way, Chelsea reportedly ask for permission to talk to Arnesen and are denied. So they go ahead anyway and go after him. I think its different to Cole though. Cole is Arsenal's commodity to do with as they please when under contract. I think its different with managerial staff where most of the time they dont have to pay for them in the first place.

Clubs show no loyalty to managers and coaching staff when they dont perform - so I see nothing wrong with managers or back room staff moving on to a better job or for better pay.

I can't quite make out the point of this story, are they actually suggesting a swap deal here or will they be paying money for these players??
