I don't mind power being part of the game, but that's the only requirement for touch rugby, whereas it's just a part of rugby.

What exactly is a farce about line outs then?

Re: Just blowing a bit of steam off !!!!

I have to admit I am baffled. Union is about Power and Speed and what else. I played the game and watched it for a long time and I can't think of any.

I prefer League now because the range of skills needed by players in all positions is greater than in union. I also think it is much more tactical because players simply cannot just boot the ball into touch which slows the game down. Players need to think about position, where to kick, who to target etc. Forwards need to be able to do far more things than union forwards.

Cheers Colbro

Ignore Dave , he`s a bit of a controversial sort of chap , i liked him better when he was a milkman

I love to watch Union , its came on leaps and bounds this last few year , i don`t get a sore neck watching it nowadays
But , rugby league is still a far better game to watch , i tend to ignore the southern softies that dont agree ............
