Williams - Skelton Rematch

Danny Williams and Matt Skelton have agreed to a rematch at Manchester's MEN Arena on 15 July.

Commonwealth heavyweight champion Williams took a split decision against British champion Skelton last month.

The winner could go on to fight for a world title later this year, according to promoter Frank Warren.

Russia's WBA champion Nikolay Valuev, who will defend his title on 3 June, has been touted as the most likely world-title opponent in the past.

Williams and Skelton will return to action in separate non-title bouts at the York Hall, Bethnal Green, on 1 April.

Is this the same match that was absolutely drivel a month or so ago until the last couple of rounds when it got excellent?

Hmmm, 50-50 for me. Unless we get most rounds similar to the final few i don't think its worth it all to be honest.

I think you mean williams and audrey kiko ? that skelton williams fight wasnt that bad, knocked fuck out of each other for 12 rounds. that skelton might aswell of been in ufc the amount of illegal blows he was giving.

Skelton is a dirty bastard. Williams is showing he does have heart and I think his superior boxing ability will be the telling factor again. Skelton's only chance is that big punch but to be honest he tends to wear fighters down (TKO) rather than knock them clean out. Williams for me.
