Re: FA Cup semi-finals

Needed Chelsea and Liverscum to avoid eachother so they could meet in the final and 7th in the league would be UEFA cup spot.

But as always Liverpool have to come out and mess it up! Chelsea ball out first, so 2/1 against it being Liverpoolout next but lo and behold out it pops singing 'Never walk alone' as it comes

Cant see us coming 6th so

Re: FA Cup semi-finals

Could see that coming couldn't you

Out of the sides in contention for a european place for getting to the final i would rather West Ham got it rather than the other 2 just for the fact i dislike Boro and Charlton.

Re: FA Cup semi-finals

Big day out in the final for a smaller club, which is good to see. It's wide open between Boro, Charlton and the Hammers as to which of them gets to Cardiff.

Liverpool could be a value bet against Chelsea, who are misfiring a bit just now.

Re: FA Cup semi-finals

The draw doesnt do much for me. Beat Chelsea then tonk whichever also ran makes it to the final. Hmmm.

Would have been nice to play Chelsea in the final but there you go, life aint fair. Good to see the FA came to their senses and played this tie at OT, decent chance of getting a ticket for that given the probable 30'000+ allocation for each team.

Re: FA Cup semi-finals

Andee, yeah it is. 76'000 the capacity should be and not as many coroprates/freebies as the final. I would say we will push for 40'000 tickets in this one.

Re: FA Cup semi-finals

Andee - plus its the second leg of the Youth Cup final at the Council House on the Friday night too. Gonna head into manchester for that then at the crack of dawn on the saturday too. Excited about this now.... I think we'll have the bitter's today. Both teams are in decent form and I read a stat in the Sportsman yesterday that said Liverpool had only lost 2 of the last 25 derbies that was over 2.5 goals. I can smell it in the air today...... grrrrrr
