The Football Association has confirmed another delay in the Wembley project after revealing all matches planned for 2006 will be moved to other venues.



Work on the stadium will not be completed in time for an England friendly in August and two Euro 2008 qualifiers in September and October.

The Community Shield on 13 August will be moved - probably to Cardiff.

Its all becoming a complete joke and making a mockery of it all now isn't it

Spiralling costs, delay after delay.

You would've thought they could've taking a leaf out of the Germans book for example where they have made world class stadiums at a tenth of the cost of Wembley and i bet they even look far better too.

What's the situation with regards to new buildings for the Olympics, do we need any? If we do they had better make a start now.

I hear the "joke" minimum 1times a week in the sportsnews. Wembley was a very honest place in the world of football.But since the "Find a name for the new Wembley stadium" it is only a gag for me!
