The League Cup is the Carling Cup Gerry. Carling just happen to be the people sponsoring it this year but it's basically for all the teams in the football league in England, whereas the FA Cup is for all the teams affiliated to the FA I think.

Probably is all over but have to Chelsea were absolutely rotten at Birmingham on Saturday, that was definately 2 points dropped against a team who have been pretty stinking themselves for a large part of the season.

A few more perfomances like that and it might not be.

For all their poor performances recently they are still picking up points.

It would take Man Utd to win all their remaining games and thats something i don't think they are capable.

They themselves haven't been playing all that great this past few weeks although you can't fault them as they have won their last 8 games.

They really could be a force next season if they could sort that central midfield out with 2 quality players as thats whats been the only thing lacking for me with them this season.

back to the main ... Ballack is a excellent central - midfielder and he want to play in another league as the german bundesliga. Offers are from Madrid,italy and england.Chelsea was the favourite team by ballack,but Chelsea have an excellent midfield.And the best player around the world - Lampert.

So,Ballack could go to ManU,to Mailand or he go to Madrid - that´ll the possible clubs for him and his position... IMO
