I tried to stop betting for a few weeks but my Dad wanted to put a fiver on Croatia in Euro 2008. Obviously I had to deposit £30 into my Betfair account and now I'm back betting for fun.

I'm rubbish at predicting sports, all my previous attempts have ended up with me losing so I've decided to follow the Facebook tips from the Sports Bets app and have a few quid on Baseball. Seems that US sports are heavily stats based and are generally predictable so a few bets each night on favourites will sort me out I'm sure. I'll cross check them with the BF forum posts to make sure I'm not making any huge blunders.

I'm only betting small, no more than £3 per game and I'm trying to stick with the home teams

Forumites on BF haven't posted yet but it's still early so I'll just wait for their views before committing my £3 per bet!

3 wins out of 4 last night so a small profit but stupidly I put a wager on a horse today - 2nd favourite, but just to place. Needless to say I bokked said horse and it couldn't make top 3 out of a field of 7. No more horses till Ascot week!
