Hi everyone,

Hope I have chosen the right section to place this. Like many others I've started to realise that it can be be quite profitable betting on football in the closing stages of the game.
Where I've fallen down in the past is due to discipline and placing to many bets that were too risky.
I think I have finally overcome this problem and hope to prove that if you have the patience, stamina, and discipline, this is a fun and profitable way to bet.
Although 99% of my bets will be in-running I will start with Liverpool to beat TNS @ 1.03 before commission at Betfair.

I know the kind of your way to making profit, a gambler of my german forum made the same. The said the don´t lose 100 bets with an odd not higher than 1,20 .. He came till 31 bets, than he lose all,because the always staking the whole account ..

Well thankfully the first bet won so this wont be the shortest attempt in history.

I should have stated last night that the bet would be taken with Betfair so adj for commission were off with a 29p profit.

Hopefully this will turn out to be an enormous thread with winner after winner.
Having said that we all know that it's impossible to win for ever so after each bet a small amount will be placed into Bank 2

There will be no hard rules as to how much will be placed into Bank 2 after each bet but the idea is to ensure that a real profit has been made by the time the dreaded loser comes in.

As already mentioned most bets will be in-running on Betfair where I feel there is value in taking the odds offered as the game comes to a close.

I think its a very dangerous road though - like thegerman mentioned about his friend - you can go on a massive winning streak but then one little mess up and thats it all gone tits up.

Betting in running has been pretty good for me for quite some time now. I think the "all in strategy" is doomed to failure but I hope to prove this can work over a season if a little profit each time is shifted into Bank 2
The biggest problem with this is dicipline. I was gutted when Liverpool got their third goal as I was hoping to jump in at around 1.03/1.04 as the clock ticked down.
If I'm honest I didn't expect to get matched at 1.01 but this time I was lucky.

Livepool - Leverkusen away, I think that isn´t a clear match between this both two teams! So one cent for one Euro ( odd 1.01) isn´t right for this match and the british bookies had coloured the odds

For german versus english teams I take the odds of eurosportwetten ( sportsbetting). The bookies always bet against germanteams ,and so the odds are higher than the german odds
