On occasions passing up these bets will cost you a collect, but for every winner you miss you will also probably miss nine losers.

Makes me be more careful about my picks, and I dont get too distracted by games that I know I will win money but decided to stay away.

About live betting, I absolutely hate them, but my bookie has the most live betting events so far I see on the net. But I seldom touch live betting unless I missed out on betting on an game I want. I think that live betting is the bookmaker's best friend, cos people tend to get emotional when betting live, especially when they see their bets losing. You can only make a profit in live betting if you're a trader I guess.

In any case, when it comes to betting, discipline is the most important, we must set rules on ourselves as to what to take and what to not take, what are the minimum odds that you want to take, you will see that most of my odds are above 2.00 and some low ones but very seldom below 1.85 cos that's my limit unless I have very good info. And I dont like obvious bets, I believe they wont give u a profit in the long run.

I believe that with good discipline and good info, profiting from sports betting is not impossible.

Still far from my target, 7 days to go till end of month and $5856 more, that's $837/day or about 3-4 winning bets a day with $300/bet, seems like I wont be able to reach it unless I change strategy. I shall think about it first.

I wish you the best but you are betting too high. $400 per bet is more than 10% of your bank and that is way too much. A bad night can easily wipe out half your bank.

Your target of $9000 target by end of month is not looking realistic right now but don't be too bothered by it... this is a marathon not a sprint!

Yeah $400 is way more than 10% and normally people will use just 5% at most I guess, but to prevent to possibility of losing more than half my bank, I will have to place my bets by at most in twos so I can limit my losses if they happen. Of course using high stakes will make me more careful in choosing bets, but the ball is round, and things happen. Well as they say, aim beyond the stars, even if u fail, u'll still drop around them.
