It seems that the bookies lines are quite accurate most of the time. I took Utah(-4) and lost by a darn 1 point. Yesterday on Cleveland(-6) and they won by 7 points. Of course there are other weird results, would take a while before I can get the hang of basketball betting.

Anyone has any good links for NBA stuffs?

covers.com for previews and analysis. They also have a pretty active gambling forum but use at your own risk!

Usually my "totals" plays are much worse than my "sides" plays but today I like the under for Miami 1st half and full game.

pros: Miami is a slooow team.... they usually hold the ball up until Shaq lumbers up to the other end of the court and that takes, I don't know, half an hour? And Utah is a typical "white man" basket ball team - slow and low-tempo. They always seem to have at least one quarter where they struggle to beat the shot clock.

cons: miami's defence has been awfully dreadful recently. Really bad. Their coach has complained about it but nothing seems to be done. They just seem too complacent and always relying on a 4th Q surge to beat their opponents.

The pros outweigh the cons for me here, so:
