Computer guy as soon as I saw this thread I knew what was going on but the thing is we try to be a little more liberal and less nazi like in our policing of posts. I've read BA and if you even post something slightly off topic your message in deleted and some holier than thou twat of a mod gives you a telling off like a school teacher or something.
I would expect the person responsbile for these threads would be too embarassed to continue them now but hey you never know.
Locking and/or deleting a thread is all very well but when people actually see threads like this still up they know what to look for and it may help them avoid such "scams" in the future.

Did you read my post or are you just trying to wind people up and make TDP look bad ? Are you taking a hissy fit cos I stated a fact about BA or something ? I don't think anyone was being deceived here. This is tipster proofing afterall, I wouldn't expect an intelligent person to back tips before seeing the proof first. Even then you should investigate a little more to make sure it is not some sort of scam like this was perhaps intended to be.
The only deception here is you trying to make TDP look bad and wind people up. If that's all you intend to do then yes please do leave.

The guy is a cheat, he's trying to deceive people into joining his service. If by posting that Im insinuating that TDP is bad, then by all means feel free to take my comment that way. Believe it or not, my post was an attempt to point out to anyone who didnt know, that the guy cant be trusted and this thread should be totally ignored from a point of view of been a tipster to follow. If you had a pound for every PM i receive on BA from inexperienced punters who have been ripped off by these so called scam services, then you would be a rich man. The guy is a scam. More than 1 person knows who he is. Has had contact with him in the past, and believes that people should be warned about him. If 1 person took notice of anything I posted in this thread and saved himself some cash, then imo, thats worth it

Apologies for this Komp/rest of the forum, as I generally find this forum to be entertaining and informative, but Alien, maybe you ought to take heed of advice when people try offering it instead of walking around with your head up your arse. As a mod, you have an obligation to users of a forum over which you moderate..........try applying that from now on.

Exactly what did I need your advice on computer guy ? I spotted it myself and hence duly warned people. In fact I was the first person to mention it I do believe. So exactly where did I fail in my duty as a mod ? I just don't see it. You really do fit exactly that description of BA mod I posted don't you ?

Alien, from a probably neutral point of view, I don't think CG's comments that BA locked this persons thread is in anyway implying they are superior. IMO CG is only saying thats their policy, they felt it was the same person and thats the course of action they decided to take. He's not suggesting it should be TDP's. Each to their own and all that, one forum will decide to lock this type of thread, another won't.

CG, Fair enough, your 2nd point about deceiving was meant in a humerous way. Again from a neutral point of, I didn't pick that up straight away. Maybe a smilie would have helped but if as you say, you meant it as humerous then its probably a good idea for everyone to take it in the way it was intended then.


As for the owner of the thread, well its pretty obvious by the evidence its WBBS from the other thread, same sort of claims, don't know if there is a website this time but the original one seems to have been abandonded when the betting record started to go tits up.

I am all for freedom to post etc but when one person actually take the trouble to re-register in a new name to get away from a poor original record of tipping, with the intentions of offering a, no doubt, paid for tipster service then what are they doing apart from cheating anyone who is tryign to get a feel for the quality of their tips? A new name doesn't make them a better tipster than they were under the old name last week, it just gives them a clean slate to start again. Surely thats not the idea behind a Tipster Proofing forum?

Personally, and again just my opinion, to give a true picture of this persons quality and if the poster is not going to be banned or thread locked, why couldn't the original WBBS thread be merged with this one, its the same persons tips after all. Then, all visitors get a true picture of the tipsters quality. And if they want to subscribe after that then at least they have a better idea what they are letting themselves in for. Just an idea.
