My bet of the day in tennis wiil be Anna Chakvetadze to beat D. Hantuhova. Yeah, I'm a fan of the Slovakian beauty, but Chakvetadze is much better at the moment and 1.65 available at BF is too good prize to miss. Anything could happen in tennis, but I'll be on her today...

Good day yesterday. All 5 mens selections came in with the two women’s losing. Annoyed my stakes weren’t bigger on the set lays of Chela and Davydenko. Acasuso had a gutsy come from behind set and break down win against Volandri. Blake played well in easily beating Clement while Moya showed some life in beating an inconsitent Berdych. Berdych a player it often pays to be on the other side of when his price is very short in recent times.

Hewitt-Davydenko

The only one in the mens today that appeals hasn’t settled price wise yet. Hewitt despite beating Calleri and Chela still starts as a dog to Davydenko a player he has beaten in all 3 meetings (2 on clay). Davydenko finished the final set against Simon today and as I felt when opposing him in a straight sets win in that game he must be feeling some fatigue. The energetic Hewitt seems to be playing himself into form but still looks like going off odds against on Betfair. The market yet to settle there but it could be as high as 2.5 or 2.6.

Bet anything above 2.4 on Hewitt (1.25 Units)

I’m slightly surprised Moya is a slight underdog as he is still a better claycourter than Blake but there’s not much in it and best left alone.

In Rome I’m going to have a small lay of Serena Williams. She had treatment yesterday for her thigh and has had injury problems this year. With Roland Garros coming up she might be reluctant to push herself too far here. Peer is 0-3 on the h to h (all hard) but is improving.

Me too Engineer. Not looking great at the moment, though, Chakvetadze won just 1 point out of 17 on Hantuchova's serve in that first set. On the plus side, she's won more than that in the first game of this 2nd set Still lost the game though.

Not too hopeful for my bet, for Chakvetadze to beat the handicap I need her to win the next two sets something like 6-3 6-3 to make up 6 games
