Re: Wimbledon men's event 25 June - 8 July

i will continue with my favorite BB

that is Baghdatis Berdych to beat their opponents Djokovic and Nadal respectively

odds terrific @2.3 for each one!

today berdych was unstopable as i predicted, bagdas played with engine off just to beat the donkey, tomorrow is different day, i expect bagdas to reach his maximum power and win, also berdych to throw out that spaniard, only god knows why he is still in the tournament

have a nive evening all!

Re: Wimbledon men's event 25 June - 8 July

I am on a winning streak, Djokovic never let me down, so tomorrow he is my favourite.
Next match to bet is Santoro/Zimonjic - Damm/Paes 1. French/Serbian are very experienced and strong pair, this year is the time to win finally the Wimbledon, they have to win this match in any case.
Berdych - Nadal, head to head is 3:2, hard court for Berdych, clay for Nadal. So first I want to bet on Berdych (good odds), but Nadal is a big fighter, able to win a lost match. Somebody told me - the first feeling is right... It would be too easy to leave the tournament in QF again, like he did in US and Australian Open...

Re: Wimbledon men's event 25 June - 8 July

Easy wins for Berdych and Bagy. Youznhy self destructs badly when two ahead to prevent a nice odds against shout and my third loser from 3 where the player I backed was ahead . I don’t think Berdych (who is a far better grass courter than Youznhy) will be as generous tomorrow.

2 Units Bagy @ 1.56 +0.89 Units

2.5 Units Berdych @ 1.30 +1.07 Units

Youznhy 0.5 Units @ 3.20 -0.5 Units

Event Staked (ATP) 7 Units
Event Profit (ATP) +2.17 Units

Event Staked (WTA) 2.5 Units
Event Loss (WTA) -2.5 Units

Re: Wimbledon men's event 25 June - 8 July

Some mouth watering games tomorrow in the mens section.

Djokovic-Bagdatis

I just finished watching a recording of Djokovic – Hewitt game and thought it of as high a standard as I’ve seen all week. Beating a competitor like Hewitt on his favourite surface and edging him in 3 from 3 in tie breaks gives a fairly good idea of the level of the Serbs play. The Serbs record in tie breaks has been very good this year – he is 17 from 23 and has won 6 from 7 here at Wimbeldon. I backed Bagy today to beat Davydenko but the Russian gifted him the match with a string of errors. Bagdatis wasn’t much better and the second set was like a ladies game with 8 breaks of serve between the two. Some very patchy tennis from both players and Bagy will have to really raise his game tomorrow to beat Djokovic. He’s capable of it but on todays showings the momentum is with the Serb and I’ll be backing him. A slight worry is the heavy tumble he took during the match but he seemed ok afterwards so hopefully not an adrenaline rush keeping him going.

2 Units Djokovic @ 1.71

Berdych-Nadal

Berdych is a player who has been good to me lately and he looks some value to beat Nadal tomorrow. A combination of Youznhy pushing the self destruct button and a possible flare up of his back problem allowed Nadal back when down and out today. Soderling similarly had his chances in the 3rd round and Rafa is looking shaky. Berdych dropped a set to Bjorkman but he seemed to let his concentration slip as much as anything else in the third set tiebreak and he reacted by bageling the Swede for the second time in the 4th set. Berdych has had the whip hand on the faster surfaces (3-0 ex clay) over Nadal and he has won 9 of his last 10 grass tie breaks which should be a mental help when it gets tight as it no doubt will. This has 4 or 5 sets written all over it IMO but Berdych looks a shorter price than whats available.

Berdych 1.5 Units @ 2.36

Re: Wimbledon men's event 25 June - 8 July

Really interesting matches today, let's hope the rain takes some rest at last.

I've a compound feelings about Berdych - he does threaten my big bet for Roddick - most aces at the tournament. But I'd like to take him against Nadal and i think the Spaniard will have bigger problems than yesterday.

Djokovic plays great tennis here... yesterday he showed a mental stability also. He should beat Bagdatis, but i expected a bit higher odds...
Bagdatis has a big support from a group of noisy fellas, that shout loudly after each point he makes
Maybe I'll stay away from that game or I'll make up my ming later. In fact this will be a great match for in-play betting.

It's Berdych - 2/10 so far.

Hmm Berdych choking big style here . Had the chances to take the first set – didn’t and getting his ass handed to him now.

Re: Wimbledon men's event 25 June - 8 July

Gutless doesn't even begin to describe this "effort" by Berdych .

Flattering to deceive again by the Czech. This defeat will hurt.

Djokovic labouring against Bagy despite createing most of the chances.

Re: Wimbledon men's event 25 June - 8 July

Bagy and Djokovic are playing a classic at the moment if you can tune in. Bgy looked dead and buried at 2 sets down (having squandered a host of set point chances in the second set). Came from a break down to take the third and is playing some great stuff now. Having done the hard part can he close it out? 22 Million Euro matched to date and will probably hit close to 30. Nearly 1.6 Million matched on Djokovic at odds of 1.05 and below. Will be a lot of sick people out there.

Momentum with Bagy but I’ve seen players lose the 5th having won the 3rd and 4th set (Zabaleta costing me big against Patience at RG this year the most recent).

Unfortunately they have changed to Ivanovic - Williams, but I follow it on the official website point by point at least. Baghdatis is surely very self-confident now, Djokovic have to fight to take this match. I think it won´t finish at 6:4.

Re: Wimbledon men's event 25 June - 8 July

At first glance Djokovic looks a very big price, still not too convinced by Nadal on grass, and considering he was 1.75 against Berdych, hmm ...

Re: Wimbledon men's event 25 June - 8 July

R. Federer – R. Gasquet

Although Gasquet fought back against Roddick, tomorrow I do not think that he has even a slim change against great Federer. Gasquet took advantage of Roddick’s weak spots and with great fight he managed to get back on the match after losing 2:0 and to win at the end. Now he is playing against Federer who doesn’t have even one single weak spot and his going to the net is much better than Roddick’s. I think that Gasquet will not give up and give his best again, but playing against the God of Wimbledon who lost only one set so far, in quarter-finals from Ferrero, is giving very slim chances to make another surprise.

Federer is aiming for his fifth consecutive Wimbledon title and he will try to finish this match as soon as possible in order to be ready and rested for the final that will be played the next day. Gasquet had tough time with Roddick today and played 3 hours and 34 minutes and he will be more tired than Federer.

These two players meet each other six times so far, Federer won last five of them and the only one loss he suffered was on clay in 2005. In the other five matches, Federer lost two sets, one on hard last year and at Halle on grass.

Federer have different approach than Roddick and he is trying to win every point, not just the points on his serve, like Roddick. He will need a rest before final, probably with his biggest opponent and will try to finish the match as earlier as possible.

Pick: Federer 3:0; Odds: 1.66; Bookmaker: Bet365; Stake: 4 units

Re: Wimbledon men's event 25 June - 8 July

i am really crazy of what happened today...

guys we are all blah blah, buth the truth is there at courts

mega battle between bagdas djokovic, luck decided for the result, that was at least understood by officials, players are NOT gladiators, both players should retire imo as refusing to be gladiators in very bad pitch of wimbledon, bad and windy, simply awfull, wimbledon is getting worse and worse every year, when is not rainining is terribly windy...

what are you expecting from djocovic tomorrow???

after 5 hours marathon to do what? wimbledon lost everything, is RUBBISH, if you order djokovic to play tomorrow after 5 hours marathon today

wimbledon is rubbish for sure, i have no doupt, djokovic MUST retire before the match, jesus crist he is NOT gladiator

as for bagdas, great respect., rumours today that martina navratilova expressed her interst to undertake him as coach! i hope bagdas to accept that genious proposal by martina!

cya all have a nice weekend!
